Many of our crew signed up to be blood donors, me included. The only problem is that it seems like west Africans usually have positive types. I was quite disappointed that my A negative blood was not needed - I wanted to bless somebody who needed it.
But in a local clinic they don't always do complete matches when transferring blood so hopefully somebody soon will be able to benefit from my donation. :)
